Petlibro Granary Automatic Feeder
Petlibro iterated a cheap automatic feeder through ten versions until it stopped jamming, then rode Amazon to $50M in sales.
A treat-tossing pet camera built by a two-person family team in Taipei.
Furbo is a Wi-Fi pet camera that pairs live HD video and two-way audio with a built-in treat launcher, so owners can see, talk to and reward their dog from anywhere. An optional AI subscription detects barking, flags unusual activity and compiles daily highlight reels. It targets a very specific emotional problem: the guilt and worry of leaving a dog home alone.
Husband-and-wife founders Victor Chang and Maggie Cheung surveyed 1,000 pet owners before building anything and found 85% worried about leaving pets alone. In April 2016 they raised $511K on Indiegogo, hitting the goal in six hours, then used that proof to enter Amazon, reaching the #1 pet camera spot within six months. They kept a deliberately narrow SKU lineup, added the Furbo Dog Nanny subscription, and grew through emotional companionship content on TikTok and Facebook across 100+ countries.
